essence longlasting lipliner review

I absolutely love everything beauty to do with lips as well as great finds at the drugstore. Naturally I was thrilled to find that the essence longlasting lipliners, that I picked up on a wimb, are beyond amazing (bold statement, I know).

Characteristics: creamy, matt, extremely longlasting, comfortable to wear, good shade range, very fine nib, great control, good packaging, from the drugstore ... need i say more?

The perfect everyday lipliner. Not too brown, not too pink and not too nude, this one would suit every skin tone. Great to wear under any lipstick to make it stay better and to avoid it bleeding over the lines. I often pair it with a smoky eye which it is perfect for.

Whenever I want to channel my inner Kylie Jenner I reach for this number. As the name would suggest, it is a beautiful plum shade with blue undertones and a hint of pink. Technically you could wear it year round but it would look best in autumn, winter and spring. I believe I'll be wearing it a lot in the upcoming colder months in conjunction with a dark lipgloss or lipstick lightly patted over.

All in all
I could go on and on about them, really, but I wanted to keep this post short and sweet and just share my honest thoughts on the essence longlasting lipliners with you. Furthermore, these have been tried and tested as they are no new addition to my beauty stash and I have had them for about 5 months.

Have you tried these liners as well? If so, leave me a comment telling me your views. Moreover, do you have any recommendations in the drugstore lip-department?

autumn nail polish picks

Oooo my first ever beauty post. Granted we're not really talking about makeup now but we'll get to that.
I have a confession to make: I have more nailpolishes than the average person needs. Heck, I buy more nailpolishes in a year than the average person buys in a lifetime! You could say it's a full-blown addiction.
So, here are my five favorite autumnal nail polishes:

Although I've only bought this one recently and have only worn it once so far, I can simply tell that I'll be loving it throughout fall and even into winter. It is a VERY dark blue that also looks kind of black in some lights. It goes with absolutely every outfit and looks gorgeous on the nails! Furthermore, I really rate the formuly of the Super Stay Polishes. They really do stay put until you go at them with nail polish remover. The ultimate test: I wore another shade on a seven-day stay in Greece. Not even a chip. Mind you we were building sand-castles, swimming in the sea or the pool and i didn't touch up once.

I am very sorry to tell you that they have discontinued this range. Because it is the absolute perfect neutral autumn shade that looks good on not only every skin tone but also every nail length. I won't bang on about it to avoid being a total biatch because as I said it sadly is not available any more.

Very beautiful berry polish. I would not necessarily call this a cherry red but oh well. KIKO claims that this formula of nail polishes is also supposed to strengthen the nails? Personally I have not noticed that happening but then again I don't wear a shade of this line every week. Perhaps over time? Anyway highly recommend checking out KIKO for nail polishes. They have a huge range of colours and aren't afraid to go really bold and bright.

A classic. I always crack this one out in the autumn time. It is such an effortlessly beautiful shade that looks good on finger- and toenails and always gets me compliments. Whenever I wear it, I get asked which polish it is and where i bought it. It seriously wouldn't be autumn for me without this polish. I even wore it to prom!

Very very beautiful for any age and any skin tone. Although it is a rather deep and vampy
shade it manages to look super classy and elegant at the same time. Looks amazing paired with a plaid in deep wine colours. And do I even have to get started on the formula? You know that an Essie polish is always going to perform amazingly well in colorpay-off, smoothness and stamina. The color range is obviously great and moreover I adore the brush which makes each shade go on nicely and streak-free.

Here you have it, my top five autumnal nail polish shade picks. Feel free to leave me your favorites in the comments and like if you enjoyed it! xx Julia
